The 72nd Board Meeting of the Arab Union for Land Transport in Cairo
Cairo, November 10, 2024. The 72nd meeting of the Arab Union for Land Transport was chaired by His Excellency Engineer Khalid Al-Hogail, Chairman of the Arab Union for Land Transport and CEO of SAPTCO, in Cairo, Egypt. The meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming meeting of Arab transport ministers in Alexandria. Key union recommendations and achievements were presented, along with the introduction of the union’s new mobile application, designed to disseminate information, link land transport hubs, and provide a range of supportive features for users.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Engineer Al-Hogail visited the Adly Mansour Public Transport Hub in Cairo, where Arab Union board members observed the services provided and the latest public transport options available.
His Excellency Engineer Khalid Al-Hogail also had the honor of presenting a commemorative plaque to His Excellency Major General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of Egypt’s public transport sector. This honor reflects his dedication to improving infrastructure and delivering high-quality, integrated transportation services that contribute to sustainable development.
