The Saudi Public Transport Company - SAPTCO - announces the appointment of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, the formation of the Board’s Committees, and appointing of the Company’s representatives
The Saudi Public Transport Company - SAPTCO - announced the results of its Board of Directors meeting held on Monday, January 20, 2025, corresponding to Rajab 20, 1446 AH, at the company's headquarters in Riyadh. This came after the results of the Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on August 25, 2024, where the members of the Board of Directors were elected for the new session that began on January 1, 2025 and will continue for four years.
Main decisions taken during the meeting:
- Appointment of Mr. Bakr bin Abdulrahman Al-Muhanna (non-executive member) as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
- Appointment of Mr. Yasser bin Suleiman Al-Daoud (independent member) as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
- Appointment of Eng. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Haqil (executive member) as Managing Director.
This appointment is considered an important step towards strengthening the company's leadership and developing its strategies, which contributes to achieving its future goals.
