Launch of the public bus transport project in Jazan region
His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan region, launched the public bus transport project in Jazan region in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al Rumaih, chairman of the General Transport Authority, His Excellency Mr. Yahya bin Jaber Al Ghazwani, Secretary of Jazan, His Excellency Mr. Khalid Al Hogail, CEO of SAPTCO group, and a number of specialists.
The project will serve a network of different routes within the cities of Jazan, Sabia and Abu Arish through scheduled and organized flights with a total distance of 293 km to go and return, for all routes, The number of stations established has reached 84 stations covering most of the attractions in the area, by providing 47 modern buses equipped with amenities and safety and equipped to serve people with special needs, The passenger capacity of one bus is 81 passengers, operating 18 hours a day, from 5:30 AM to 11:30 pm all days of the week.
The launch of the public bus transport project in Jazan will enhance the mobility options within the city for both residents and visitors to the region.
